It's That Time Again ....

Greetings, friends!

Now that Halloween is over ... you know what "that" means, right?

Yes, dust covered bins are slowly making their way up from the basement ...

Trees are being placed, and mesh is slowly taking over the place!

Pinterest is "stuck" on my computer for fun inspiration!

And, I'm testing out new color schemes.

Even though, every year, I say that I won't buy anything "new" and use what I have, SOMEhow this new friend jumped into my cart and came home with me. Oops.

And, while I should be focusing on one thing at a time, I couldn't help but to stop and visit with Santa and our future hot coffee station.

Ahhhh, the joys of the pre-Christmas decorating madness!

I hope I'm not alone ... look forward to sharing our holiday home in the coming weeks!

Thanks for stopping by,

  4. I always take mine out the day after Thanks Giving. I am looking for a small table tree this year online and so far no luck. We gave our large tree away, but I would love to find a pretty 3 foot one.

  8. Wow. Already? I couldn't even contemplate decorating for Christmas until December. Aside from knowing I'd be totally bored of the magic by the time Christmas rolled around, I think Beloved might actually move out! lol Christmas on Pinterest, though. That I can just about handle ;-) Have fun!

  9. Holiday cheer to you... I have already seen several homes that have started their holiday decorating. Often one must get started early taking into consideration their busy schedules and the weather for the outside decorating. Personally I wait until after Thanksgiving, but I will start my decorating early since I will be out of town for Thanksgiving. Enjoy the festive time of year...

  11. I love it! There is absolutely nothing wrong with beginning to decorate now for Christmas- you decorate your whole house and I know that takes time, and you want to have plenty of time to enjoy it after you've worked hard to get it all "Christmas-ed up"! We are having family in town over Thanksgiving and I plan to also start my decorating before they come into town. Have fun with it! :)

  12. You are amazing! I'm with you on decorating early. It takes so long to put my Christmas out; I do want to enjoy it. As a child, we left our Christmas up unit the Epiphany. That's not for me though. I want Christmas down by December 31. Aren't we funny? We all have our ways of doing things! I can't wait to see what you do this year!
